Agreed, Reginald. In studio meetings, the topic of ‘trailer moments’ often comes up as in, “What are this script’s trailer moments?” You need those to market a movie. This goes way back in Hollywood history. The industry’s first great producer Irving Thalberg told writers, “Give me five great scenes. I can sell that movie.”
It behooves us as writers to ask questions like “what’s the one-sheet”, “what are the trailer moments”.
