Great Scene: “There Will Be Blood”

The last scene of There Will Be Blood (2007) is one of the most gut-wrenching finales in recent film history. Written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, the scene features just two characters: Daniel Plainview (Daniel Day-Lewis) and Eil Sunday (Paul Dano).
The movie version is even more violent.
A bowling alley. Drainage. Milk shake. The mind boggles at how Anderson combined those disparate elements into such a powerful scene.
