I’m going to go straight to the emotional jugular, the last few moments between Logan and Laura:

Logan: Take your friends and run… They’ll keep coming, and coming… You don’t have to fight anymore. [holds Laura’s hand] Go… Don’t be what they made you. [pause] Laura.
Laura: [crying] Daddy.
Logan: [smiles] So… this is what it feels like.

It’s the apex of Logan’s psychological journey. And taking hold of Laura’s hand — as I noted here in this blog post — is the capstone of a visual runner throughout the movie involving his and her hand.
