John, thanks for sharing. You mention a key word: FOCUS. It’s so easy to get caught up in the swirl of creative energy, we may dissipate the focus we need to get THIS project done … then switch to THAT project. When we write a script, we need to be able to give ourselves entirely to those characters and the situation they find themselves in. So yes, focus. That’s something I remind myself about a lot.
