Laura, I agree: the “inner voice,” indeed, voice itself is a recurring theme in the story. We can get into that on Thursday.
Re the scene-by-scene breakdown and the script itself, this may be one of the most active Pixar stories. Yes, there are some reflective moments, but so much of the time for the toys is devoted to getting back. The structure lays out pretty clearly and we can get into that tomorrow with Plot.
While Woody does go through a change, arguably it’s Forky which has the most significant arc, going from ‘trash’ to ‘star.’ Not the Protagonist, but at least a central character.
