Mark, you know well my theory that movies are almost always ‘asking’ this question of key characters, especially the Protagonist: “Who are you?” And Evelyn quite *literally* asks this question in this scene.

Side note: It’s surprising how many movies have characters asking some variation of this question, e.g., ‘Who are you?’

Re the staging of Lee and Marcus heading toward the waterfall, Evelyn heading back into the house, and Regan taking off for the bridge, good observation: An effective way to separate these key characters. And it’s not artificial because there is this underlying tension between Lee and Regan which prevents her from going with the guys… and sends her off on her own to the bridge where Beau had died.
