My very favorite movie ending: The Apartment. It’s perfect.

Tender Mercies. Wonderful movie written by the late great Horton Foote. Incredible, but I suppose not surprising that so many movies end with the Protagonist finally finding a home / family. That sense of wanting to belong and being embraced by others … universal human desire.
