Rebeca, unless you do not *know* they are an unreliable narrator. If the writer crafts the story so the reader *believes* the Protagonist is reliable and *later* reveals… oops, they have been feeding me a line… the writer can have their proverbial cake — woo reader into the story via the Protagonist — and eat it, too — provide a big twist.
