Sean, don’t begrudge your time away from writing. My guess is at some point down the road, you’ll look back at that period and see value in having stepped back. But now, you’ve reconnected with your creative energy. Find a story or character which you find compelling… get curious about them… and see where that takes you.

And that’s right: Go into the story… and find the animals!
