Sven, that’s a really interesting take. I hadn’t thought about Cleo being the only one who could pass the test the captain set up as being metaphysical, probably because the story feels so grounded much of the time. But then there are Felliniesque moments like when Sylvia stands in the street and the band marches by and around her.
