Thanks for that memory, David. I can still remember seeing the first Rocky when it came out when I was a grad student at Yale. Saw it at a dumpy theater in New Haven. Crowd went berserk in the final fight. Knew it was a hit right away. Wonderful you have that association of the movie and your grandfather.
