There are LOTS of great stories in movie theaters and via streaming services. You just have to look for them. Movies like The Rider, If Beale Street Could Talk, Eighth Grade, First Reformed, even A Quiet Place which was a major studio release, but essentially a silent movie (little dialogue) which runs entirely counter to conventional wisdom.

Find your indie film movie theater and support those movies. That’s the way to grow the market for compelling, different stories.
