Zach, every so often, I like to feature comments from some of the Old Guard who worked in movies *before* all the “how to” books. Like you, I find it funny. Also instructive. Everybody’s got to find their own way. For some, story is instinctual. Fine. But don’t foist that on somebody who *needs* formal or informal training to learn the craft. And vice versa.
